ZAGREB FAIR FIRST WTC ACTIVITY SINCE TERRORIST ATTACK

The Zagreb Autumn Fair was the first World Trade Center (WTC) Association activity after last week's terrorist attacks on the twin towers of the WTC headquarters in New York, and a good place for a new start, WTC Association Board of Directors chairman Bryan Montgomery stated on Friday. He was "impressed" by this year's fair and the way it was organized, and pleased with the collective exhibition of the countries of south-east Europe, organized jointly by the Ljubljana, Belgrade, Bucharest, Sofia, Skopje and Zagreb World Trade Center offices. Asked by the press to comment on the possibility of rebuilding the New York twin towers, Montgomery said he hoped that would be done, although it was still too early to talk about it. He added, however, even the United States President George W. Bush had offered financial support for rebuilding the towers during his recent visit to New York.
