INA OIL INDUSTRY RECEIVED A GRANT FROM THE U.S. TRADE AND DEVELOPMENT AGENCY

The U.S. Trade and development Agency (TDA) awarded a grant of $410.000 to the state-owned oil giant INA (Industrija nafte d.d. - Oil Industry) for the purpose of conducting a feasibility study in its refineries in Sisak and Rijeka. The feasibility study of the mentioned refineries is a pre-condition of the intended modernization and restructuring in accordance with European Union fuel, environment and systems standards. The feasibility study will be carried out by ABB Lummus Global, a US firm located in Bloomfield, New Jersey, which will participate in the project with a contribution of $180.000 in addition to the TDA's contribution. US Ambassador Lawrence Rossin and Chairman of the Board of INA Tomislav Dragicevic will sign the ceremony at INA's headquarters on Wednesday, December 19.
