Croatian Prime Minister Sanader Holds Lecture at Harvard University

Boston, September 23 – Croatian Prime Minister Dr. Ivo Sanader gave a lecture on Croatia at Harvard University’s renowned Kennedy School of Government, entitled Croatia in the Third Millennium: on the Verge of EU and NATO Integration.

Introducing Prime Minister Sanader, dean David Ellwood spoke of the Prime Minister’s role as a humanist and politician whose leadership of Croatia is a good example to other countries of Southeast Europe.

Dr. Sanader presented Croatia’s foreign policy objectives in his speech before a packed auditorium, noting that Croatia shares the highest values of the contemporary free world, on the basis of which the EU and NATO were founded.

Prime Minister Sanader spoke of his vision of Europe as a community of equal states and peoples sharing common values and goals, adding that there is no alternative to transatlantic cooperation and partnership between Europe and the United States.
