Croatian Ambassador to U.S. expressed condolences to late President Reagan
Washington, June 10, 2004 – The Ambassador of Republic of Croatia to U.S. Dr Ivan Grdesic expressed the Croatian Government’s and his own deep condolences to the Government and the citizens of U. S. today, after the death of former American President Ronald Reagan.
On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Croatia and its people, please accept our sincere condolences on the passing away of the great American patriot, statesman and President, Ronald Reagan.
His legacy is not only a part of the American history, but also the history of modern democracies. President Reagan’s personal contribution to democratization is particularly remembered in countries that suffered the evil of communism.
