Croatian Television begins airing eight hours of satellite television programming
Zagreb, September 14th – Croatian Television is expanding its daily airing of satellite television programming for Croatian audience abroad from three to eight hours.
Because of the success of the three hour program, which began airing back in May 2001 for North American audience, government of Republic of Croatian and Croatian Television have decided to expand the daily programming from three to eight hours. The programming will first be aired in Europe and then re-aired in North and South America, Australia and New Zealand. The satellite programming will not be coded and will air three times in a twenty- four hour span.
It is expected that the line-up will include many informative programs as well as much sport, music and educational programming. The long-term goal of the programming is to establish a better link with the Croatian audience abroad. The experimental change will be effective tomorrow and the regular airing will begin October 15th.
