Washington DC, May 14 – More than 40 members of the Congressional Legislative Staff Association (CLSA) visited the Croatian Embassy yesterday. During their stay, CLSA visitors met with the Croatian Ambassador to the U.S., H.E. Dr. Ivan Grdesic and Croatian diplomats while discussing the relations between Croatia and the United States.
This was not only a opportunity for Congressional staff to get to know Croatia better or to further open the doors of communication but also, as Ambassador Grdesic put it, for Croatian diplomats to meet and lobby on behalf of Croatia the representatives of one of the important parts of Washington’s politics.
Congressional Legislative Staff Association is a bipartisan, nonprofit organization dedicated to providing increased professional opportunities to the legislative staff of the House of Representatives and the Senate. Currently it has more than 500 members, representing over 535 congressional offices in every state in the United States.
